Descriptions
This parkland was purchased in 1999 from the developer of the surrounding Thompson Meadows subdivision using funds from the Parks and Open Space bond measure passed in 1998 by Eugene residents. Park development was funded in 2006 by park System Development Charges. The beautiful neighborhood park now features a rolling lawn, a dual-purpose amphitheater and basketball court, a children’s play area, a walking path, a preserved filbert orchard, and custom art tiles by local artist Betsy Wolfston.
