Playground Renovation

With funding from the 2018 Parks and Recreation Bond and Levy,  Berkeley Park received a major renovation in 2022. Fun new features include:

• An expanded playground with all new equipment
• Sand play area
• Nature play area
• Picnic plaza
• Expanded irrigated lawn
• Continuous looped path with connects the playground, basketball court and natural play area

Description

Berkeley Park is a 2.38-acre neighborhood park located in west Eugene, at the corner of 14th Avenue and Wilson Court. Originally purchased in 1949 and developed in 1955, the park was expanded by land donations in the mid-1970s. The most recent playground renovation was completed in 2022.
