Lincoln School Park Renovation Project

Supply chain issues, shortage of skilled labor, inflation, and so much available work across the nation is having a ripple effect here in Eugene, including that fewer contractors are bidding on projects with much higher bid prices.

To make the Lincoln School Park budget go as far as possible, we are still looking at options to make our projects more flexible to attract more contractors to submit competitive bids (lower prices). As such, we are planning to delay construction to allow material prices to come back down and align our bid timing to when contractors are apt to be looking for work.

Our current thinking is a construction completion date of late Summer 2023.

We know it is disappointing to experience another delay and we appreciate your patience given these unusual circumstances.
