    April 1, 2017, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Awbrey Park

Join the Friends of Awbrey Park for their next First Saturday volunteer gathering. This month they are prepping for the Awbrey Park Wildflower Celebration. Help with trail maintenance by removing brush, pruning trail sides and weeding. The tasks are varied, the people are welcoming and the results are remarkable—wildflowers cover the banks of Spring Creek every spring. Tools, gloves and a snack are provided. Dress for the weather and to get dirty. Boots or sturdy shoes are best.

    April 1, 2017, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Sheldon Community Center

Join your friends and neighbors as we work on the garden beds around the Sheldon Community Center. We invite you to be a part of making our community center beautiful and welcoming. A little weeding goes a long way. So come on out and see what a difference you can make. Then join in the fun and play a few lawn games. This is a Eugene Outdoors family-friendly event – no experience necessary. Tools, instruction and snacks provided. Meet in the community center parking lot.
