Artist and instructor Vinita Pappas will teach adult beginners to paint landscapes outdoors. This talk is one of three plein air painting events led by Pappas in June. Sign up starting May 20 for any one, two, or all three. They are:

Plein air painting online talk: Saturday, June 4, 10am-11:30am, Zoom

Plein air painting workshop: Tuesday, June 7, 10am-1pm, Alton Baker Park. Vinita Pappas will teach beginners to paint landscapes outdoors. Participants get a free watercolor painting kit, including paper, to keep. Bring a folding or camp chair if desired.

Plein air painting gathering: Tuesday, June 14, 10am-1pm, Hays Tree Garden, in Alton Baker Park near Cuthbert Amphitheater. Paint on your own in good company. Bring a picnic lunch and a folding or camp chair if desired. If you received a painting kit at the earlier workshop, bring it with you; if not, you will get one at this event.
