Byrdsong Consort will perform traditional and contemporary music of England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

The group features Michael Bardossi (violin); Alice Barkan (viol, recorder); Julia Heydon (violin, recorder, voice); Elnora Sears (viol, recorder, flutes); and Tom Sears (viol, recorder, harpsichord).

Founded in 2002, Byrdsong Consort started out by specializing in instrumental music from the late Middle Ages and Renaissance through the early Baroque, then expanded its repertoire to include original arrangements of country dance tunes, folk songs, and pieces by contemporary songwriters and musicians.
