Description
Hawkins Heights is a 7.92 acre undeveloped neighborhood park, located at the intersection of Hawkins Lane and Highland Oaks Drive. Purchased in the late 1970s, the park is on a sloping site, and has a quarter mile looped jogging path. The site is very close to where the first Renaissance Faire was held in 1969, which was a direct precursor to the Oregon Country Fair. The park contains remnant orchard trees, as well as native oaks, ashes and firs.
