Improvements to Arrowhead Park were completed in 2005 as part of the Parks and Open Space bond measure approved in November 1998 by Eugene residents. The renovated park now boasts a landscaped park entry area, a large informal play field in the center of the park, picnic tables and benches, an ADA accessible playground, an informal basketball court set back from houses and the street, street trees and native trees to help buffer the natural area along the creek, ornamental planting beds, and a continuation of the Arrowhead Trail through the park along Flat Creek with a smaller nature trail allowing for safer access to the creek.
