Description

Monroe Park is a 2.58 acre neighborhood park, located just west of downtown Eugene in the Jefferson/Westside neighborhood, at the intersection of Broadway and Monroe streets. This park was formerly the site of Lincoln Elementary School that became a city park in 1961. It has received additional development and renovation several times over the years; in 1977, again in 1984, and most recently in 2005. The stately cornerstone park features rolling hills, public art, a play area, and picnic areas.
