Description

Wayne Morse Family Farm is the former home and farm of Senator Wayne Morse, a political figure who has come to symbolize political integrity and service in America. The only City park on the National Register of Historical Places, the 27-acre park features a historic house, natural wooded area, and meadow.

Dog owners may access the off-leash dog area by parking in the main lot and walking east down the gravel path to the fenced pasture.

The historic house is available for rent year-round for events up to 30 people. The picnic shelter and adjoining field are also available for rent, for non-amplified events, May through October for groups up to 125 people.

The Wayne Morse Historical Park Corporation works with the City to preserve the site as a public resource, and provides stewardship for the park's cultural and educational resources. For more information about this site, please contact the City of Eugene Parks and Open Space division or the park office at 541-682-5380.
