Police Seek Help in Public Indecency Case
Case No. 13-10912


On Saturday, July 6, a Eugene Police Officer arrested a 23-year-old white male, Anthony Richard Long, age 23 of Eugene on charges of Private Indecency and six counts of Public Indecency. These involved five victims, who were unacquainted with the suspect.

Police continued to investigate the case due to concern there might be additional victims.

EPD received several calls in response to the request for tips. The officer reports this has been helpful and that two of the leads he received had enough information to lead to additional charges.

The suspect, Anthony Richard Long, age 23, of Eugene, has now been charged with eight counts of Public Indecency, one count of Private Indecency and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. This involved lewd sex acts against seven different women.

Reports were made beginning in November 2012 through June 2013.

His victims have been female, ranging in age from 21 to 90 years.
