At 2:40 a.m. on September 11, Eugene Police responded to a crash on westbound Beltline between Division Avenue and River Road. A 19-year-old Eugene woman reported she was driving her Nissan westbound on Beltline when she was struck from behind by a Scion and her vehicle was pushed to the center cement barrier.
As an officer went to attempt to speak with the Scion’s driver, Trisha Lynn Holland, age 38, of Eugene, he found she was arguing with Eugene Springfield firefighters. Holland was outside the vehicle, and they were attempting to look for the driver inside, not knowing she had exited. As officers contacted Holland, they suspected impairment and after further investigation, she was arrested and transported to Lane County Jail on a charge of DUII. Case 23-13525
