[ARCHIVED] Police Seek Stolen Vehicle Suspect

Eugene Police are seeking a suspect in connection with a stolen vehicle that was involved in a single-vehicle hit and run crash on Royal Avenue at Oak Hill Cemetery Road on Sunday, March 31, between 4 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. The vehicle was found crashed into a fence and utility pole, but the driver had fled the scene.

The vehicle, a silver 1997 Nissan Sentra 4-door, was totaled in the crash. It had been reported stolen the day before from the 400 block of Sierra Street.

The suspect is James Jeremiah Naylor, age 32, of Eugene. Police are hoping that Naylor will turn himself in, however if anyone has information on his whereabouts, they are asked to call Eugene Police at 541.682.5111, or Lane County Sheriff’s Office at 541.682.4141.###
