Graphic with icy background reading Public Offices and Facilities opening at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23

Due to freezing rain and hazardous road conditions, the City of Eugene will delay the opening of public offices and facilities until 10 a.m. on Friday morning, December 23. 911, Fire and Emergency Services will continue to operate as usual. Community Centers, Libraries, and administrative offices will open at 10 a.m.

Icy conditions have made roadways dangerous, and drivers are advised to stay home until conditions improve. City officials will continue to monitor the conditions throughout the evening and provide an update in the morning if needed.

Information about Public Works crews responding to icy condition is available on the City’s website
