Lane County has seen a recent increase in gangs and gang activity. On January 12, 2013, more than 250 parents, teachers, service providers and many others came to learn about gangs in our area, sort myth from fact, and address stereotypes. The next step is to discuss what works in other communities and to create a plan to solve the gang problem in our area.
