[ARCHIVED] City seeks community responses in new survey

The City of Eugene is seeking responses from Eugene residents in its 2022 Community Survey. The survey is available online in both English and Spanish and takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.

“While we receive public comments and input on many projects and priorities, it has been over a decade since we’ve conducted a comprehensive community survey,” said City Manager Sarah Medary. “This survey will help us gather data to determine how we can serve all of Eugene better in the years to come.”

Survey questions are meant to help City staff assess the mood and feel of Eugeneans right now, what the community values and what its top concerns are. Results will help provide a framework for strategic decisions regarding future budgeting options, including how best to prioritize programs and policies.

This online survey is in addition to a statistically valid survey being conducted by ETC Institute. The online survey is open through September 5 and results will be shared on Engage Eugene shortly after closing. Results from the surveys will also be presented during a City Council Work Session in late September. Results will only be shared as a group – no individual responses will be shared.

See the surveys on Engage Eugene; participants must create an Engage Eugene account to fill out the survey.
