[ARCHIVED] Frontier Airlines Coming to Eugene Airport

Frontier Airlines

Frontier Airlines is launching new seasonal service between its Denver hub and the Eugene Airport starting May 16, 2013. The new flights will be timed to connect to/from other cities served by Frontier, including Dallas/Ft. Worth, Grand Rapids, Kansas City, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Nashville, Omaha, and Orlando.

“We’re thrilled that Frontier Airlines is coming in to serve our community,” said Eugene Airport Director Tim Doll, AAE. “The addition of these flights will bring much needed added seat capacity for east-bound travel and provide our passengers with more options for reaching their destinations.”

The new service will operate on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft, featuring 30 channels of DIRECTV service available at every seat. Additionally, these flights will offer five rows of comfortable STRETCH seating with an additional five to seven inches of legroom, and the airline’s SELECT seating product. Frontier’s website, FlyFrontier.com, offers the guaranteed best fares and is the only place STRETCH and SELECT seating is available at the time of booking.

Frontier Airlines is a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc., an airline holding
company that also owns Chautauqua Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America. Currently in its 19th year of operations, Frontier offers service to more than 80 destinations in the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
