ATM Stolen from Lane County Fairgrounds


Eugene Police Patrol responded on July 22 at 5:41 a.m. to Lane County Fairgrounds, 796 W. 13th Avenue, after reports an ATM was stolen.  There were reports the suspects were leaving the area in a white cargo van. Multiple other officers were in the area searching for the suspect vehicle, described as a white, U-haul cargo van with no rear windows and "1995" on the side of it. 

The van is reported to have been driven west on W. 15th Avenue and north on Tyler Street. A passenger was described as an unknown race male, 5`8-5`11 tall, with a thin build, wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, black baseball hat, and light orange mask. The ATM machine had an undisclosed amount of cash in it at the time. EPD Property Crimes Unit is handling the investigation.

Eugene Police Property Crimes Unit detectives recovered the ATM in the Cheshire/Junction City area. If anyone has tips they are asked to call 541.682.5111 and reference case 21-11100.
