[ARCHIVED] Arrest Made in Burglary of Beacock Music

Police Patrol Vehicle

Eugene Police Property Crimes Unit detectives served a search warrant leading to the arrest of Callen Mann, age 29, of Eugene.

In the early morning hours of February 17, 2021, a man broke the window out on the front of Beacock Music and stole several thousand dollars’ worth of electric guitars and accessories. Detectives learned that Mann was in possession of the stolen guitars. Mann is a member of a local band that rented studio space at Space Eugene, a music studio rental business in Eugene.

Last night, February 24, 2021, detectives served a search warrant on the studio, recovering stolen items from the burglary and arresting Mann. He was lodged in the Lane County Jail on charges of Burglary in the Second Degree, Theft in the First Degree and Criminal Mischief in the First Degree.

Detectives were very happy to be able recover at least a portion of the stolen items and return them to the store. However, there are still two guitars that detectives would like to recover. Please direct any tips to the Eugene Police Department 541-682-5111.Callen Mann
