OwenGriffith-Cwyk

On February 1, at 1:43 a.m., Eugene Police officers responded to a Burglary in progress at Buy 2, 1809 W. 6th, where a man was seen breaking a window and possibly going inside. When officers arrived there was conflicting information about the suspect’s location. Some split off to search nearby, while others began a search inside the building. The officers searching and clearing the building located the suspect Shawn Cary Gentry, age 40, of Eugene, inside the bathroom in the office drinking an alcoholic beverage from the store’s supply. With the assistance of K9 Cwyk he was safely taken into custody without incident on a charge of Burglary in the Second Degree.
