[ARCHIVED] Man arrested in continuing investigation of May 29 riot

Eugene Police detectives are continuing to work the May 29/30 riot case and make arrests. On January 12, Kaleb Lee Jones, age 21, of Woodburn, was arrested. He is being charged with Riot, Unlawful Manufacture of Destructive Device and Unlawful Possession of Destructive Device.

 

The charges are a result of Jones and other rioters making Molotov Cocktails, which they subsequently lit and threw into a large bon fire.

 

To date, 22 people have been arrested. This investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated. Detectives are interested in any information from the public about any other rioters involved from this event as well as any photos or videos of the incident that attendees may have taken and are willing to provide to police.
