[ARCHIVED] Marley’s Monsters Named Winner of the Mayor’s 2021 Bold Steps Award

Congratulations to 2021 Bold Steps Award winner Marley's Monsters

The 2021 Bold Steps Award Winner was announced by Eugene Mayor Lucy Vinis during the annual State of the City Address on January 6.

The Mayor’s Bold Steps Award program highlights local businesses that implement triple bottom line business practices; taking environmental impacts into account while supporting the local economy—and their employees with opportunities for wellness, career growth, and work/life balance. All Eugene based businesses that are Rethink certified through BRING are eligible to be nominated for the award. The BRING Rethink program provides free, on-site consultation that helps businesses reduce waste and save money.

Each year, the City works with a committee to select three Bold Steps finalists from those nominated.  In addition to this year’s winner the other finalists for the award were PakTech, and Summit Bank.
