[ARCHIVED] Free PPE Distribution Closes on March 18

The City is distributing free PPE to small businesses and non-profits in Eugene.

The City of Eugene’s Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) free distribution for small businesses and non-profits will come to a close on March 18. The distribution, made possible because of Business Oregon, offered sanitation supplies to small businesses with fewer than 100 employees.

“We are so grateful to have been able to offer this opportunity to help many businesses that have been hit hard by the effects of this virus,” said Amy Hartsfield, PPE distribution program manager. “We know this distribution helped continue a clean and safe working environment for businesses throughout our city and slowed the spread of the virus.”

Eligible businesses and non-profits can still pick up a two-month supply of sanitizing wipes and disposable masks. Please note there are no more gloves for distribution. The last day for distribution will be Thursday, March 18. Businesses that have already picked up two rounds of PPE are no longer eligible.

Eligible businesses must meet all of the following requirements to receive supplies:

  • be headquartered in Oregon and have a location in Eugene (must provide Eugene business address); and
  • have 100 or fewer employees

Visit our Free Supplies for Small Businesses web page for more information and the application link. When a small business or nonprofit applies, it will be required to make an appointment to pick up the PPE. Once a business’s eligibility has been verified, the contact person will receive an email confirmation with the time and location.
