All short-term rentals (STRs) in Eugene are required by City ordinance to register annually. It’s a short and easy process, and there is no registration fee.
How to Register
To register, please go to our online Short-Term Rental Registration form. Generally, the registration will be required each year by January 1. Because this is the first year this requirement is in effect, you may register between now and March 31, 2021 and still be compliant with the annual registration requirement.
The only information that is required for registration is name of the owner/operator, address of the short-term rental, and whether the STR is owner-occupied. There is also a requirement to provide a name and local contact number for the STR in the event there are questions or complaints. A separate database with the name and local contact number will be available online, but none of the other information will be accessible to the public.
