[ARCHIVED] Egan Warming Center to Activate Two Locations Tonight

In response to temperatures predicted to fall below freezing on Sunday, Nov. 8, Egan Warming Center is operating two locations that will operate under strict COVID-19 protocols.


Lane Events Center (County Fairgrounds) 

796 West 13th Avenue in Eugene

Egan will be opening two buildings here, Wheeler Pavilion (opens at 7 p.m.) and Expo Hall #2 (opens at 9 p.m.). Please note that due to public health guidelines, they are not permitted to have more than 50 people in each space, including volunteers. This means that they will only have space for 80 guests total. Accessible site. Pets are welcome. 

Youth Site (at First United Methodist Church)

 1376 Olive Street in Eugene 

This site will open at 6 p.m. Accessible Site. Pets are welcome.

Egan has an ongoing need for volunteers. See information about the next training:
