[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed for Veterans Day on November 11

Willamette River

City of Eugene services and facilities have different schedules for holiday hours. All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

 

Library, Recreation and Cultural Services

Amazon Pool and Sheldon Pool will be open during regular hours on Wednesday, November 11. Community centers and all Eugene Public Library locations will be closed.

 

Police, Fire, Medical and Other Emergency Services

Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on November 11. The main police station on Country Club Road is open 365 days a year. The Downtown Station office will also be open.

 

Public Works

No work will be done on City street repair projects. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption.

 

Parking

City-managed parking garages, surface lots and on-street meters will be free on November 11, except for the train depot surface lot. On-street parking limits in the Arena District surrounding Matt Knight Arena are in effect at all times as per posted signs.

 

Airport

The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual through the holiday. The airport administrative offices will be closed November 11. For flight schedule information, go to www.flyEUG.com or call 541-682-5544.

 

All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Thursday, November 12, unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Thanksgiving on November 26 and 27.
