[ARCHIVED] Two Arrested in Shooting of Man, Seeking Third Suspect

We are seeking this third suspect, Daniel Villada-Rodriguez

On July 18, 2020, at 11:54 p.m., Eugene Police officers responded to reports of a man who had been shot and was unresponsive in the 400 block of Hwy. 99 North. The first arriving officer applied a tourniquet to the man’s leg and another officer started CPR. The man, age 23, regained consciousness. Eugene Springfield Fire EMS medics arrived and took over care of the victim and transported him to a local hospital. Patrol officers searched the area for suspects.

 

Eugene Police Violent Crimes Unit initiated further investigation and today arrested two suspects: Gage Ezell Duncan-Moor, age 20, of Springfield (who was already in custody for unrelated charges) for Robbery in the First Degree and Assault in the First Degree;  and Kevin Hernandez Villanueva, age 22, of Springfield, for Robbery in the First Degree, Assault in the First Degree, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm in relation to this incident.

 

There is a third suspect outstanding in the case:  Daniel Villada-Rodriguez, age 20, of Springfield. If anyone has information to help locate Villada-Rodriguez they are asked to call the EPD non-emergency line at 541.682.5111.
