[ARCHIVED] Police arrest three suspects involved in robbery

On September 14, at 11:18 a.m., police responded to an assault on the 1900 block of Garden Avenue, and located a 30-year-old male victim who was transported to the hospital by medics with serious injuries. Police received information that the incident happened near the railroad tracks and that two men and a woman, known to the victim, entered his tent, demanded money, pepper sprayed and bludgeoned him with a blunt object.


Police initially received information that the suspects had ran south from the location, however, during the investigation, police located the three suspects, Jolene Marie Boatright, age 36, of Eugene, Jordan Paul Scales, age 28, of Eugene, and Jeremiah Bradley Paul Kerbow, age 20, of Eugene, who were in the area and contacted them regarding the incident. They were each arrested for Robbery in the Second Degree. Boatright and Kerbow received an additional charge of Assault in the Third Degree, and Scales received an additional charge of Assault in the Second Degree. Kerbow also sustained a laceration during the incident, and was transported to the hospital by medics.
