[ARCHIVED] Traffic stop leads to arrest of wanted suspect and several charges

On August 30, at approximately 1:20 a.m., a police officer conducted a traffic stop of a 2013 Nissan Altima in the area of Silver Lane and Sterling Drive, after observing multiple traffic violations. Police contacted the driver, Ryan Scott Moi, age 33, of Eugene, and found information to arrest him for Possession of Methamphetamine.


During the stop, police also contacted the passenger, Lea Juanita Moi, age 29, Grants Pass, who was recognized to have a warrant for arrest. After further investigation, Lea Juanita Moi, was arrested for Delivery of Heroin Possession of Heroin Commercial Offense, Felon In Possession of Firearm (handgun), Felon In Possession of Restricted Weapon (metallic weapon worn on hand) , and two warrants.
