Residents Report Unwanted Curb Painters

Eugene Police has received several complaints from homeowners about individuals painting their street numbers on their curbs without permission. Sometimes the house number has been painted incorrectly or is unwanted.

These painters usually will not leave or provide contact information. Often, they come back multiple times and ask for a “donation.” There have been some reports of them being intoxicated and becoming aggressive and/or belligerent if asked to leave. They seem to target an area of town and then move to another section of town.

There is no obligation for you to provide a donation or payment for this. If you need to report the painting or behavior while it is occurring, please call 541.682.5111.
