City of Eugene services and facilities have different schedules for holiday hours. All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.
Library, Recreation and Cultural Services
All locations of the Eugene Public Library, community centers, pools and the Hult Center ticket office will be closed.
Police, Fire, Medical and Other Emergency Services
Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual throughout the holiday weekend. The main police station on Country Club Road is open 365 days a year. Please note that the Downtown Public Safety Station will be closed on July 3. Call 541-682-5131 for more information about services.
Public Works
No work will be done on City street repair projects. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption.
Parking
City-managed parking garages, surface lots and on-street meters will be free on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, except for the train depot surface lot. However, please note that no parking signs will be enforced at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 4 to ensure the Farmers’ and Saturday Markets can access spaces for the markets. On-street parking limits in the Arena District surrounding Matt Knight Arena are in effect at all times as per posted signs.
Airport
The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual through the holiday. The airport administrative offices will be closed July 3. For flight schedule information, go to www.flyEUG.com or call 541-682-5544.
All City offices will return to regular hours on Monday, July 6, unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 7.
