[ARCHIVED] Police Seeking Tips in Vehicle Vandalism

Surveillance photo of the vandalism suspect

On April 14 at 10:12 a.m. police responded to the 500 block of Hamilton Avenue after a resident reported a woman had poured a substance that removed the paint on his vehicle. He reported ongoing vandalism had been occurring. The substance caused extensive damage to the vehicle.

The last incident occurred at 2:07 a.m. on April 14, and was recorded on video. The suspect appears to be a white, adult female, with a medium build, wearing a dark, hooded lightweight jacket with the hood up, a bandana-style face mask, dark leggings and with dark, possibly brown ankle-high boots. The boots appeared to have some type of fur around the top edge and a small dark object tucked into the top of the right boot. The suspect appeared to be wearing lightweight gloves, possibly consistent with latex gloves. The suspect`s hair is mostly concealed by the hood and mask, but hair can be seen jetting out around the front edge of the hood.

If anyone has tips in this case they are asked to call Sgt. Michael Ware, 541.682.5150, and reference case number 20-06465.
