[ARCHIVED] Sheldon Pool Renovations: Public Information and Input

Thank you Eugene! Your Parks & Rec bond and levy dollars at work

Eugene Rec’s Sheldon Pool and Fitness Center is getting an upgrade and expansion thanks to the 2018 Eugene Parks and Recreation Bond and Levy. Community members are invited to learn more about initial plans and provide input.

Public Input Sessions

Join us at one of the following sessions to hear from City planners and the architecture firm leading the redesign. Let us know how you use Sheldon Pool and what amenities and programs you would like to see considered in the renovation.

  • Dates: Wednesday, Feb. 12, and Thursday, Feb. 13
  • Time: 6-8 p.m.
  • Location: Campbell Community Center, 155 High Street

Online Survey

If you are unable to attend one of the two outreach sessions in February, please fill out the online survey about what you would like to see included in the renovation of Sheldon Pool & Fitness Center.

About the Project

This renovation will include redesigning the facility for better use of the indoor space, safety and energy efficiency updates, bathroom and locker room upgrades, fitness center expansion and improvements to parking. These changes will meet the increased community demand for space for recreation, fitness and competitive swim programs.

Sheldon Pool and Fitness Center’s renovation and expansion is among projects funded by the $39.35 million bond and $3.15 million levy passed by Eugene voters in May 2018.
