The City of Eugene and the local NAACP co-hosted the 34th annual march on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This year’s event was dedicated to women in the movement, as 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote in the U.S.
Sarah Medary, City Manager Pro Tem, and Jennifer Van Der Haeghen, Human Rights and Neighborhood Involvement Manager, were both recognized with the 
2020 MLK Women in Achievement Award.
