[ARCHIVED] Central Eugene in Motion Survey Deadline Extended

With the hopes of getting more feedback, Eugene Public Works has extended the survey deadline for the Central Eugene in Motion Study. The surveys for the study will now be open until Wednesday, Dec. 11.

“We had a great turnout at our Nov. 19 Open House where we unveiled our design alternatives,” said Reed Dunbar, Senior Transportation Planner. “But we’d like to hear from more people about the design alternatives and how they could impact how people get around and conduct business.”

The design alternatives are available online at Engage Eugene. Each project sub area has images of the design alternatives as well as a criteria matrix, parking studies and traffic analysis. Each sub area also has a survey.

The design alternatives look at several different scenarios in the sub areas, including changes to on-street parking, reducing the number of travel lanes, two-way street conversion, and adding protected bike lanes.

People can also fill out a paper survey and send it to the project manager. The downloadable survey is available on Engage Eugene.
