City of Eugene services and facilities have different schedules for holiday hours. All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29.
Library, Recreation and Cultural Services
- Thursday, Nov. 28: All community centers, pools, library locations and the Hult Center ticket office will be closed.
- Friday, Nov. 29: All three Eugene Public Library locations will be open. The Hult Center ticket office, community centers, and pools will remain closed.
Hult Center ticket purchases, many Library services, and registration for Recreation programs are available online 24/7.
Police, Fire, Medical and Other Emergency Services
Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on Nov. 28 and 29. The main police station on Country Club Road is open 365 days a year. Although the Downtown Station office will be closed on Nov. 28, the Downtown Patrol Team will be on duty.
Public Works
No work will be done on City street repair projects. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption.
Parking
City-managed parking garages, surface lots and on-street meters will be free on Nov. 28 and 29, except for the train depot surface lot. On-street parking limits in the Arena District surrounding Matt Knight Arena are in effect at all times as per posted signs.
Airport
The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual through the holidays. The airport administrative offices will be closed Nov. 28 and 29. For flight schedule information, go to flyEUG.com or call 541-682-5544.
All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Monday, Dec. 2, unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Christmas Day on December 25.
