[ARCHIVED] Celebrate Tugman Playground Reopening on Sept. 7

Join Parks and Open Space and Southeast Neighbors at the newly renovated Tugman Park playground for a reopening celebration.


Event Details

  • Date: Saturday, Sept. 7
  • Time: 3-7 p.m., Mayor Vinis will officially kick off the celebration at 4 p.m.
  • Location: Tugman Park, 3666 Hilyard St.

Activities will include live music and entertainment, field games, free Coconut Bliss bars, a Southeast Neighbors silent auction and more. Attendees are invited to bring a picnic or grab a bite to eat from Eva’s Taco Truck and Peaceful Palate.

  • Two play structures and all new equipment
  • A type of swing for both caregivers and kids to share
  • Climbing rocks, mushrooms and logs
  • Track rides, fun spinners and spring riders

The project was made possible by the voter-approved 2018 Parks and Recreation Bond and Levy.
