[ARCHIVED] Police investigating death as hit and run incident

UPDATE x3: 

The SaniPac driver has been identified as Todd Andrew Baker, age 53, of Springfield. The Major Collision Investigation team has confirmed the woman’s identity as Annette Lorraine Montero, age 57, of San Leandro, California.

The investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE:


Police are continuing to investigate the death as a hit and run incident. The Major Collisions Investigation team remains at the scene and looking into possible video from nearby businesses that might have captured the incident on camera.


Victim was found to have been in sleeping bag at the time of death.


Investigators are asking that if anyone was in the area of 11th to 13th/ Willamette to Oak, during the early morning hours and has information regarding this incident, please contact police at 541.682.5111.

On August 26 at around 6:30 a.m., police responded to a deceased subject call in the 1200 block area of Willamette Street.


Investigators are asking that if anyone has information, or observed anything suspicious in the early morning hours in the area from 11th to 13th Avenues, and Willamette to Oak Street, to please contact police at 541.682.5111.
