At the open house, people will be able to inform/listen to existing transportation issues and explore ideas on how to meet the study’s goals.

Background

As our greater downtown develops, Eugene’s transportation networks must provide safe and comfortable connections regardless if by car, on foot, bike, bus, or personal mobility device. Our street system can support the success of our downtown and midtown communities, ensure the movement and delivery of goods, and get us comfortably to where we are going. The Central Eugene in Motion process will explore planned and potential changes with a focus on three key areas.

  • 8th Avenue
    • Mill Street to Lincoln Street
  • Amazon to Riverfront
    • Pearl/High streets
    • From 19th Ave to 5th Ave
  • Midtown Willamette Street
    • Willamette Street: 18th Ave to 20th Ave
    • 19th Avenue: Willamette St to High St
    • 20th Avenue: Willamette St to Oak St
