[ARCHIVED] Man Charged in Invasion of Personal Privacy Case

Eugene Police officers responded to Alton Baker Park on July 4 at 3:49 p.m., after reports a man had been taking inappropriate photos of a teenaged female during the Art in the Vineyard event. Bystanders had detained the suspect, Joseph Gali, age 61, of Springfield, until police could arrive.


Gali had a camera with a telephoto lens and was reported to have taken ‘up-skirt’ photos of the young female.


Gali was arrested and charged with Invasion of Personal Privacy (ORS 163.700(1)b)
