[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed for July 4 Holiday

City of Eugene services and facilities have different schedules for holiday hours. All City of Eugene administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.


Library, Recreation and Cultural Services

All locations of the Eugene Public Library, community centers and pools will also be closed, except for Amazon Pool, which will operate on a holiday schedule and be open for lap swim from 12-5 p.m. and Rec Swim from 2-5 p.m. The Hult Center ticket office will be closed. 


Police, Fire, Medical and Other Emergency Services

Police, fire, medical and other emergency services will be provided as usual on July 4. The main police station on Country Club Road is open 365 days a year. Please note that the Downtown Public Safety Station will be closed on July 4.


Public Works

No work will be done on City street repair projects. Around-the-clock health and safety services, such as regional wastewater treatment, will continue without interruption.


Parking

City-managed parking garages, surface lots and on-street meters will be free on July 4, except for the train depot surface lot. On-street parking limits in the Arena District surrounding Matt Knight Arena are in effect at all times as per posted signs.


Airport

The Eugene Airport, which is operated by the City of Eugene, will be open for business as usual through the holidays. The airport administrative offices will be closed July 4. For flight schedule information, go to www.flyEUG.com or call 541-682-5544.


All City offices and facilities will return to regular hours on Friday, July 5, unless otherwise noted. The next holiday observed by the City of Eugene is Labor Day on Monday, September 2.
