On Saturday June 29, at 7 p.m., more than 60,000 people are expected to attend the Garth Brooks concert at Autzen Stadium. We want to remind people traveling through the area that there will be a significant amount of traffic, and we ask that you are patient and courteous of other people sharing the road. If you are attending the concert, plan accordingly. Give yourself plenty of time to park your vehicle and get inside the stadium before the show. If you do plan on driving to the concert, remember to lock your vehicle before leaving and make sure that there are no items of value that are visible. If possible, it is best not to leave anything of value in the vehicle when you are away.
Please consider using alternative forms of transportation such as biking, walking and the LTD shuttle. If you plan to park at Alton Baker, you will need to come into the area via I-105 Eastbound and take the Country Club Road exit, which will put you in the correct lane to turn into the park.
If you plan to drink, don’t drive, and come up with a plan ahead of time to have a designated driver or another way to get home that doesn’t involve getting behind the wheel or driving impaired.
