At 9:55 a.m., today, May 23, Eugene Police received a call regarding a kidnapping in progress. Once officers responded, they discovered the involved vehicle was listed as stolen.
The vehicle, a Chevrolet Astrovan, was located near Junction City. All involved, two female adults, were contacted. The kidnapping was determined to be unfounded. The stolen vehicle is still under investigation.
