[ARCHIVED] Thursday is Public Works Day

Excitement is building for the City of Eugene's annual Public Works Day. This open house is your chance to climb big trucks, get an up-close look at animals found in city parks and open spaces, learn more about storm and wastewater collection, and see the many ways that Public Works is active in our community. It's free, fun, and educational for kids of all ages.

Date: Thursday, May 16

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Location: Public Works Yard, 1820 Roosevelt Boulevard

Cost: FREE


Shuttle Buses

Lane Transit District has dedicated a bus to and from the Public Works Yard. Shuttle buses leave from the downtown LTD station at every half hour starting at 8:30 a.m. The bus sign reads "Spec Shuttle." The return bus from the Yard back to the downtown Station leaves every half hour starting at 8:45 a.m.
