Drivers should prepare for road closures on Sunday, April 28, as people take to the streets for the Eugene Marathon. Closures will start about 6:15 a.m. and will last through late morning.
Closures will include:
- Northbound lanes on Ferry Street Bridge until about 7:30 a.m.
- Parts of the 13th avenue until about 9 a.m.
- East and West Amazon drives
- Franklin Boulevard until about 10:30 a.m.
Signs will be in place to indicate the closures and flaggers will help drivers navigate around the course. People are asked to prepare ahead for the closures and slow down when driving near the course.
