On April 17 at 3:37 p.m., Special Investigations detectives were working a sting regarding child prostitution and posed online as a teen girl. A man, later identified as Bryan Ray Warren, age 38, of Sutherlin responded to the posting and made an agreement to meet the “girl,” who identified herself as age 15, in the vicinity of a local high school. He was taken into custody by Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit.
He’s been lodged at the Lane County Jail, charged with Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the First Degree.
Police want to continue to raise awareness to this crime to prevent sexual exploitation and to help children and women who are victimized.
