Heavy rain has caused flooding in several areas of the park system.
Alton Baker is experiencing extreme flooding. Parts of the Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path and Fern Ridge Path are flooded. Underpasses on the Fern Ridge Bike Path are also affected. As the rain continues, we may see more areas affected.
The public is asked to please avoid any flooded areas. Do not walk, bike or drive through floodwater. The water is extremely cold and the current may be stronger than expected. Floodwater can hide rocks, trees, trash and debris that can be dangerous.
