[ARCHIVED] Eugene Police and Lane County Sheriff’s Office Arrest Man in Rape Cases

At 6:30 a.m., today, March 5, Eugene Police and Lane County Sheriff’s Office took Rickie A. Miller, age 32, of Crystal Lake, Illinois, into custody without incident during a traffic stop  at Willow Creek. He has been charged with three counts of Rape in the First Degree, two counts of Sodomy in the First Degree, two counts of Kidnap, Strangulation in the First Degree, Menacing in the First Degree, Assault in the Fourth Degree. 

 

Both agencies  had sexual assault reports by three unrelated victims and through their investigative efforts, determined the cases were connected with the same suspect, Miller. Miller is associated with a white van.
