[ARCHIVED] 911 Call Center Staff Very Busy During Storm

Eugene Police Department 911 CenterOur Central Lane 911 Center handles calls throughout central Lane County. When the storm hit earlier this week, staff was extremely busy!


Monday's call volume tells the story. The following table compares February 24, the day before the storm hit, with February 25, the first day of the storm. The number of calls answered more than doubled!
