Currently, Franklin Blvd is dominated by people driving high speeds and a lack of safe crossings for people walking or biking, but the City wants to transform the boulevard into a street that serves the needs of all members of the community! To help the City update the design, the City is asking the community to help shape Franklin into a modern multi-modal urban street by attending and participating in two or all three events that will be held during the last week of January.
Interested but unable to attend the design workshop events above? Visit https://www.eugene-or.gov/Franklin for other opportunities to participate. For additional information, please contact Larisa Varela, Associate Transportation Planner, at LVarela@eugene-or.gov or (541)682-6887.
